Recent events

Hi all,

  It's been difficult to get my 30 day challenges off the ground.  The last one was knocked out by a severe flu that went through my family and then a cold from visiting family.  It's difficult enough to do things with two children without sickness in the mix.

  I hope, cross my fingers, that my family will be healthier in the new year.  We've missed probably more than a months worth of preschool in the first four months of the school year.  Those little beings are carriers for so many colds.

  Take care of yourself and your tribe. We all need a bit of love and compassion in the coming year.

It's been a while

New Year, New idea

I saw this photo on Facebook that had a new year idea. A Happiness jar. 

Take a jar and every day write something positive on a piece of paper and on New Year's Eve read them all.

I resolve to be more positive and so I started. I decided a journal would be more practical. 365 pieces of paper sounds like too much.
